My First Illamasqua Products!

This is my first purchase from Illamasqua. I'm very impressed with the quality of their makeup. I've seen the products in Sephora and finally decided to make a purchase when I saw that the website was having a sale....but BEWARE! If you are purchasing online just know that you are purchasing directly from the UK. The cost will be converted to Great Britain money. I really thought I was getting a deal on these until the price was converted to US dollars but by that time my order had already been placed. So I will not be purchasing from them online. I will just go to Sephora and pay full price! :)

But the shadows are really soft and pigmented. I have not used them yet but they feel really good. I swatched them but didnt take the picture. So I will definitely take some pics when I use them. The blusher is gorgeous as well. It was recommended by a makeup artist friend of mine and she was right! this blush is gorgeous! I can't wait to use it. I have been looking for an orange tone blush that doesnt look powdery. The swatch on my hand was not powdery looking so I have very high hopes for this product.

I'll keep you posted when I use them.

Daytime Soft Neutral Look

I have seriously neglected this blog....I'm going to try to stay on top of updating it and posting my videos.

So I created this quick and easy daytime, neutral look. I tried to use the minimum amount of products so that the look would be simple and easy. I actually got the idea from a video that BeatFaceHoney did on YouTube except I put my own little spin on it and made it less dramatic. I still LOVE her version of the look.

Makeup Look: Coastal Scents Creative Me Palette #1

I thought I posted this look a long time ago but just found it today sitting in my drafts. Well its a look that I did with the Coastal Scents Creative Me Palette #1.

Some Recent Makeup Looks - 7 Day Coastal Scents/BH Cosmetics Challenge

This colorful look came from one of my BH Cosmetics Palettes. I was playing in makeup last Saturday and decided to try the double wing eyeliner look that I saw on You Tube. It came out pretty good in my opinion. I will definitely do it again! I already have the look in mind that I want to do with it.

BH Cosmetics tropical matte palette (was going for a bronze/orange smokey eye look)

This is one of my favorite color schemes to use. FUSHIA!

I used the 78 color eyeshadow/blush palette from Coastal Scents

as well as the blush in the palette

This was my first time using the Luxurious Pink Lip Look Bag from the MAC Glamour Days Collection.

This one and the one below is a look that was inspired by one of my Instagram buddies. I was going for a yellow look. However, her yellow was a super awesome bright yellow. My palette only included mild, neutral yellow tones.
